Unblocked games

All 22 games here run inside the browser tab. No installer, no plugin, no extension, no account — which is exactly why they work on the kind of locked-down laptop that will not let you install anything.

Straight answer on the “unblocked” part: we cannot bypass a network filter that blocks this domain, and any site promising otherwise is not being honest with you. What we can do is remove every other reason a game fails to run — no download to be blocked, no plugin to be missing, no app to be installed, no login wall. If you can open this page, you can play everything on it.

Why so many old unblocked-games sites are broken

Most of them were built on Flash. Adobe discontinued Flash Player at the end of 2020 and every major browser removed support for it, which killed tens of thousands of browser games overnight. Sites that never rebuilt are now just pages of blank rectangles.

Everything on TechPixelly is written in modern HTML5 canvas and JavaScript — the same technology the page you are reading uses. There is nothing to go out of date and nothing to install.

What runs well on a school Chromebook

Chromebooks have modest hardware, so the games worth opening there are the ones that stay light. Everything in the puzzle and board categories runs comfortably: 2048, Sudoku, Minesweeper, Connect Four and Word Guess.

The heavier ones — Junk Truck, which runs a real physics simulation, and Neon Rails, which draws a pseudo-3D track — still work, but they are the two most likely to feel sluggish on very old hardware.

Play quietly

Every game with sound has a mute control, and several are silent by design. If you are somewhere you should not be making noise, Element Forge, Sudoku and Minesweeper are the safest picks.

Unblocked games — frequently asked questions

What does 'unblocked' actually mean?

It usually means a game that needs no installation and no browser plugin, so it runs on a managed laptop where you cannot install software. Every game on this site is that kind of game — plain HTML5 and JavaScript, loaded as a normal web page.

Will these work on my school or office network?

They work wherever this website is reachable. We cannot get around a network filter that blocks our domain outright, and we would not claim otherwise — but because nothing here needs an install, a plugin or an app store, the usual reasons a game will not run simply do not apply.

Do I need to install anything?

No. No download, no plugin, no extension, no account. Open a game page and it plays in the tab.

Does it need Flash?

No. Flash was discontinued at the end of 2020 and every browser removed it. That is why a lot of old unblocked-games sites no longer work. These games are built on modern HTML5 canvas and JavaScript, which every current browser supports.

Do they work on a Chromebook?

Yes. Chromebooks run a standard Chrome browser, which is all these games need. They also work on locked-down Windows and macOS machines, tablets and phones.

Are they really free?

Yes. There is no premium tier, no paywalled game and nothing to buy. The site is funded by advertising.
