About Element Forge
Element Forge starts you with four things: water, fire, earth and air. Drag any two together and, if they make sense, they fuse into something new. Water and fire make steam. Earth and fire make lava. Lava and air make stone.
From there it opens out fast. Stone becomes metal, metal becomes electricity, electricity becomes a computer, and a computer plus life becomes something you will have to find for yourself. There are 136 elements in total, arranged so that almost every discovery unlocks two or three more.
There is no timer and no way to lose. Your discoveries are saved in your browser, so you can chip away at the last stubborn twenty over several visits.
How to play
- Drag an element from the right-hand list onto the board.
- Drag a second one on top of the first to combine them.
- If the pair makes something, it fuses and the result is added to your list.
- If nothing happens, the pair has no recipe — try another.
- Use the hint button when you are stuck; it puts a workable pair straight on the board.

Tips & strategy
- Work outwards from your newest element. Recipes almost always use something you discovered recently.
- Try doubling up — water and water, earth and earth. Several early elements only come from a pair of the same thing.
- The four base elements combine with almost everything. When stuck, run your newest find against all four.
- Living things, tools and technology form three long chains. If one stalls, switch to another and come back.

Is this Little Alchemy?
No. It is an original game in the same element-combining genre, with its own recipe tree. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Little Alchemy or Recloak.
Is my progress saved?
Yes, in your browser's local storage on this device. Clearing your browser data resets it.
Can I get stuck?
Not permanently. Every element is reachable, and the hint button will always name a pair you can actually make.
