Privacy Policy

The short version

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name, email address or payment details. Every game and tool on this site runs inside your own browser — the numbers you type into a calculator, the text you paste into a text tool and your game scores are never sent to us.

What we do use is standard web analytics and third-party advertising, both of which set cookies and collect technical information. The details are below.

Information we collect ourselves

Information you give us

Only what you choose to send. If you email us through the contact page, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and we keep it for as long as it takes to deal with your message.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider and analytics record standard technical information when a page is requested: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you view and the time of the request. This is used to understand which pages are popular, diagnose errors and detect abuse.

Information stored on your device

Several games and tools save preferences and high scores using your browser’s local storage. This data stays on your device, is readable only by this website, and is never transmitted to us. Clearing your browser data deletes it.

Advertising

We intend to fund this site through advertising, including Google AdSense. Where advertising is active on a page:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

Analytics

Children

This site is general-audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention and security

We keep analytics data for as long as our analytics provider’s default retention period, and email correspondence for as long as needed to handle it. The site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Pages on this site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them.

We may update this policy as the site changes. The “last updated” date at the top will always reflect the current version. Material changes will be noted on this page.
