Affiliate links

Some outbound links to vendors are affiliate links. If you sign up or buy through one, we may receive a commission. It costs you nothing extra — the price is the same as going direct. Not every link is an affiliate link, and a tool's presence here is never conditional on having an affiliate program.

Paid placement

Vendors can pay for a Featured or Sponsored slot. That buys position on the page and a visible badge. It does not buy a favourable description, and it does not get a competitor removed. Sponsored entries are labelled "Sponsored" everywhere they appear.

What money cannot buy

• A description that isn't accurate.
• Removal or demotion of a competitor.
• Suppression of a correction or a dead-link report.

Accuracy

Vendors change pricing and features without telling anyone. We check listings by hand and fix what gets reported, but always confirm details on the vendor's own site before you pay. Nothing here is professional advice.
